LCI would like to congratulate two of their top students. Lauryn Leger and Cassie Gilford recently were awarded $2,500.00 each from the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation (NRAEF). The scholarships are awarded to some of the top culinary students in the country. This scholarship is part of the NRAEF Manage First Program.

Lauryn and Cassie are both honor roll students, and work, and they both participate in extracurricular activities while attending LCI. Cassie Gilford currently works for a catering company and is a volleyball coach for Episcopal High School and a private team called Cap Elite. Her goal is to own a catering company and cater to professional athletes. Lauryn owns a successful catering company called Leger's Catering.
