Looking for inspiring young chefs! Tie on your aprons and get ready for fun-filled morning of cooking, learning and laughter in our kitchens.
Budding chefs will enjoy plenty of mixing, prepping and cooking thanks to small classes that encourage active participation. Young cooks will explore menus full of exciting discoveries, from how to prepare favorite dishes to new twists on old classics.
Hands On Menu Includes:
- Fried Green Beans with Creamy Dipping Sauce
- Crispy Chicken Fingers and Savory Stuffed Waffle
- Strawberry Shortcake
Please Note:
Parents or Guardians cannot be in the room, but may stand outside and may watch the child work through several windows. A waiver must be signed by a parent/guardian before the child may enter class.
All leisure classes include hands-on instruction from our ACF Certified Chef Instructors, food materials, apron, and recipe booklet.

Tickets are required to attend this event. Due to the nature of our leisure classes, walk-ins are not accepted. If redeeming a gift certificate, please call LCI at 225-769-8820.
If there is an unexpected cancellation for a leisure class from LCI, you will be contacted at the phone number and email provided during sign up. A refund in the form of a check or credit to another currently open leisure class will be available.
